2011-2012 Program Manager: Complete program responsibility for US Navy LCS5 and LCS7. Leader of cross functional matrix team to accomplish schedule and profitability goals. Assist in development of a master schedule, established complete program metrics and used EVM reporting tools to analyze program performance.
2003-2011 Program Manager: Complete program responsibility for USCG RBM program from first article construction and testing to the production RFP and leading the proposal development team, continuing into manufacturing and vessel delivery. Developed a 5 year business plan and established a new company for aluminum construction, ACE Marine in Green Bay, WI. Ace Marine constructed half of the boats and half of the boats were built by Kvichak Marine in Seattle, WA. Developed configuration control program, ensuring complete standardization of product from two separate manufacturing facilities. Developed life cycle management system utilizing a relational database and IETP information viewer. The $410,000,000 program finished ahead of schedule and ahead of profit forecast.
1999-2003 Production Manager: Outfitting: Directed workforce of 180 with 7 direct reports. Achieved performance of 108% to budget. Implemented in-process inspection program, successfully increasing end product quality by 22%.
1997-1999 Production Control Manager: Directed workforce of 20. Responsible for developing integrated master schedules for each program, comprehensive work pack development, work package budgeting, performance reporting, manpower planning and performance forecasting. Implemented in-yard Planners to coordinate planning and manufacturing at the various manufacturing stations.
1996-1997 Configuration Control Manager: Documented production configuration and implemented standard part numbers.
